Out Of Commision

My back is out again....

Ughh I hate getting older. But I have had this issue since Bub was a baby. Well maybe even before that but not like it is now. I even go to the chiropractor every week but last Wednesday I did something and don't ask me what cause I have absolutely no clue. I just knew immediately that it wasn't good.

Went to the doctor since my chiropractor was closed and he has scheduled another MRI since my last one was done ions ago. On Friday I went to the chiro for a massage and adjustment because I did not want the whole weekend to be shot.

That made it better for oh an hour... I feel like I am 80 years old.

So here I sit rotating hot packs and cold packs and watching it rain for the millionth time this month. I mean I love not having to water my grass and all but this is getting ridiculous.

While I am on the subject of rain we had a awful storm the other night and our neighbors tree which is right next to our fence in the back yard got struck by lightening and it literally shook the whole house and the sky lit up like it was the fourth of July. The tree is mangled and bits of the tree just exploded and went flying everywhere. We even found bits in our front yard. It was insane!!

The first pic it was dark so you really couldn't see much but this morning Whoa that was a little too close for comfort!!!

July Ipsy Glam Bag

make up monday new

I cashed in some of my points for this Buxom shadow in the shade Haute Couture. These are pretty cool cause you can buy the little compact for $2.00 and pop whatever shade you want in them. The single shadows retail for $12.00 and you can also make a 6 pan palette with another compact which retails for $13.00.

It is a gorgeous java color with a nice sheen. I am glad I cashed my points in for this and might be heading to Sephora in the near future to swatch/buy some more of these!!!

Be A Bombshell Lip Balm in Ruby. After a couple uses It is just your average lip balm to me with a nice wash of color. This is a full size and retails for $14.00. Whoa I am not sure I would ever spend $14 on a lip balm but I will keep using it and see if it is worth that price tag. Surprised smile

Ofra Cosmetics Eyeshadow/Highlighter in Bliss. I love this as a highlighter. It is so creamy and pigmented. This is a full size and retails for $10.00. Only bad thing is I wish it came in a compact cause I keep having to put it back in the plastic thing because I don’t own a Z palette. Sad smile I know first world problems!!! #thestruggleisreal

Tarte Deluxe Sample Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess. When I saw that this was in my bag I literally wanted to do the happy dance. smiley dancingI have been wanting to try this for forever but couldn’t see spending that much on a bronzer. It is sooo pretty and gives the prettiest glow to your skin. I am going to have to talk myself out of buying a full size when it runs out LOL. Full size retails for $30.00. Maybe I will find a good sale Winking smile!

Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Gel Soapless Cleanser. I have only used this a couple times but it doesn’t bother my skin so that is a plus. The scent is very floral to me so if your not into that this might not be for you. Full size retails for $20.00

Jor’el Parker perfume in Classico. It is a little strong for my taste but the scent does dissipate a little after you apply it so it’s wearable and it’s growing on me.

On the site it says the notes are:  Indonesian Clove Bud, Australian Sandalwood, Moroccan Rose, French Bergamot, Indian Tuberose, Japanese Orange Flower, Lebanese Cedarwood, Turkish Cyclamen and South African Freesia. It is supposed to be Exotic, awakening and transformative whatever that means…. Smile with tongue out  I thought this was a sample size but turns out it is a full size roller ball but it also comes in different sizes. This one retails for $21.00.

Makeup Monday–Smashbox Try It Kit

IMG_9184

Ipsy had this up for grabs as one of their specials last week. It normally retails for $18.00 and I got it for $14.00 plus free shipping so not a gigantic discount but saving a couple dollars never hurt anyone am I right!!  Winking smile

IMG_9185IMG_9186

I really wanted it cause I already love their eye primer so just getting that alone was worth the price. It might actually be my favorite eye primer now.  I also wanted to try out their mascara and eye shadow. You already know how I feel about the primer but I am trying to give it another go so we shall see.

IMG_9187IMG_9188

I was really impressed with these eye shadows and I love how mini it is so I can put it in my purse or beach/pool bag.

IMG_9189IMG_9192IMG_9191

I have not had a chance to test out the mascara yet but I will let you know.

This was just a casual day so I broke these out and just did something simple. Love how they blend!!

Paula’s Choice Resist Hyaluronic Acid Booster

I was sent these Paula’s Choice Resist Hyaluronic Acid Booster Samples from bzz agent back in May.

IMG_7791

This picture was taken around the same time.. What can I say May was a busy month of volunteering so no time for a before close up picture sans makeup. Sorry I am sure you are heartbroken not to see that hot mess LOL! Rolling on the floor laughing

IMG_7841

Anywho’s this is a hyaluronic acid booster that is supposed to plump fine lines and prevent moisture loss. It is a pretty simple product to use you just add a few drops to your regular moisturizer.

First off I am not to fond of the packaging. The little tube makes it hard to get the product out.

IMG_9234IMG_9235

Full size retails for $45.00 and a trial size retails for $9.00. I am glad they offer trial sizes of most of their products to test out before you spend the big bucks.Money

It is a clear gel consistency and I mixed it with my Laneige water bank gel cream during the day and the Laneige water bank serum at night.

This was taken just a few days ago:

IMG_9212

I dunno I gave it a fair shake but I am not seeing much of a difference.  Granted I don’t have a huge amount of wrinkles. I think it may have been causing some break outs too but I can’t be sure if it was the hyaluronic booster or the combo of the moisturizer and the booster.  Maybe it would be more compatible with a Paula’s Choice Moisturizer. I think if we had been sent one along with the hyaluronic booster that may have been a better product experiment.

That is just my two cents but it might work fabulously for you!!! I do absolutely love Paula’s Choice Resist BHA’s so I definitely think you should check them out.

They sent me a code for 20% off your next order plus free shipping if you are interested in trying any of their products: PRBZZ20 (code expires July 31, 2015)

**I was sent this product from bzz agent for free but all the opinions are mine. No one paid me to say I love or hate this product**
