Slow Cooker Pork Chops

Slow Cooker Pork Chops

These are so EASY!

6-8 pork chops (I only used 3 big ones)
1 14 oz can chicken broth ( I did not have any so I improvised and used bouillon mixed with 14 oz of water)
1 packet dry onion soup mix (I made homemade using this recipe homemade dry onion soup mix)

Lightly brown both side of pork chops in skillet using a small amount of oil. I used olive oil. 3-4 minutes each side.

Place pork chops in 5qt slow cooker

Mix the broth with the soup mix until it's blended then pour over pork chops.

Set it on low for 6-8 hours

Go watch a good movie and have a glass of wine. (NOT a Lifetime movie Mili Wifey)

Serve with rice or potatoes &collard greens and bread.

Happy Wednesday

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

My son had a friend over this past weekend and I made these cookies by Kitchen Nostalgia .

Bub loves peanut butter and I wanted something easy peasy no fuss to make. This was perfect!

There are a total of 5 ingredients and it was stuff I always have on hand.

Peanut Butter (1 cup)

Light Brown Sugar (1 cup)

Baking Soda (1 teaspoon)

Egg (1)

Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon)

**I used vanilla paste cause I just like it better**

Mix the peanut butter and egg til fluffy then add the remaining ingredients. I added in mini chocolate chips as well cause I like me some Reeses peanut butter cup flavor!!

Take 1 tsp of dough roll it into a ball and place on baking sheet. Once they are all on the baking sheet make a criss cross pattern on each one with the back end of a fork. **I dipped my fork in sugar because that is how my Mom taught me so the fork doesn’t stick to the cookie & more sugar never hurt anyone LOL.**

Bake at 350 degrees for 7-10 minutes until golden brown around the edges.

Let them cool completely. Since there is no flour they will try to fall apart if you try to eat them hot and you might burn your tongue. Nyah-NyahWinking smile

They were a huge hit!!

April Ipsy Bag & Target Beauty Box

I did it a little different this month to save time & because I am lazy and uploaded a video of me opening these.

The lotion from the Ipsy bag was very earthy smelling and the lotion from the beauty box is very fresh and sweet. I prefer the one from the beauty box.

Here are swatches of all the makeup products:

Not my color :/

Homemade Manwich

My son wanted Manwiches tonight and I did not want to go to the store to buy it so I googled a recipe and this one was the winner!

Manwich (CopyCat) posted by Redneck Epicurean

I had to tweak it a bit for what I had on hand but from the reviews if you stick to the recipe its got 5 stars but I think my tweaked recipe was a 5 as well.

Serving Size: 4
(You might be able to stretch this too 5 but only if you don’t have a teenagerWinking smile)

1 (8oz) can of tomato sauce –
I did not have this so I used 8 oz of a 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes w/garlic and onions that I pureed in my magic bullet.

1 cup of ketchup –
I ran out of ketchup at 1/2 a cup Crying face so I used 1/2 a cup of chili sauce with the 1/2 cup of ketchup

1 tablespoon dried onion flakes –
I only used 1/2 tsp of onion powder since the diced tomatoes had onions in them.

1 tablespoon green pepper – chopped fine-
My guys do not like green peppers in their food so this was omitted…I know they are weird!!! Smile with tongue out

1 tsp salt
I used this too taste since the tomatoes had salt in them and so did the ketchup and chili sauce.

1/2 tsp minced garlic-
Again I used 1/4 tsp garlic powder because the tomatoes had it in them.

1/2 tsp chili powder

1 tsp – mustard
I used 1 tsp mustard powder

1 lb ground beef-
I used ground turkey cause I am trying to be all healthy and stuff!
 smiley dancing

Here is the finished product before my son grabbed it out of my hand.
Don’t be jelly of my fine china!

He asked for seconds so it is definitely a winner!Thumbs up

Guess I don’t need to buy the canned stuff anymore. Woot Woot Rolling on the floor laughing

Mess No More!

I legit stink at doing my nails. I would rather go to a nail salon but that’s esspensive and I ain’t rich.!! Winking smile I have gotten better in the last year thanks to YWP but not much cause I am lazy and usually just put a clear coat on and call it a day!

I came across this stuff watching a favorites video by leighannsays. If you don’t watch her channel you should she cracks me up. Hello my name is Jenny and I am addicted to Beauty Youtube Channels!

Anywho the Mess No More! by Mini Mani Moo is a liquid tape so you can go all cray painting your nails and not have it everywhere. You can also use it under glitter polish so it peels right off instead of fighting to get it off with nail polish remover. Perfect for moi!!! Embarrassed smile It costs $13.50 on their site and at Ulta.

First thing she is right it smells like strawberries from a distant but up close…gag it smells like strawberries and nail polish remover with a hint of hair dye. Sick smile I think the wand should be a bit smaller. It is ginormous so I accidently got it on my nail a couple times. Granted it’s the first time I used it so there might be a learning curve.

I used the Bridge The Ridge basecoat by American Classics, China Glaze in the color summer rain (Big Mistake…HUGE because it was the same color as the liquid tape) and Seche Vite topcoat.

I painted my nails even worse then normal to really test this stuff out. I am bad but not that bad. Smile with tongue out

It says once you are done painting your nails and before they dry to take the tape off. They suggest using tweezers. Well my suggestion absolutely do not use tweezers. Do you see my thumb & do you see the dent in the nail polish….Nooooooo Whyyyyyyyy Crying face. I suggest just gently pushing/rolling the tape up on the side of your nail and then peeling it away. It comes off fairly easy so tweezers seem unnecessary.

You can see the error of my ways here with using the pink polish. That is a mixture of polish and the liquid tape on my cuticles. I couldn’t get it off by just rubbing it and I was not about to dent up my nails with the tweezers again so I waited for my nails to completely dry and then washed my hands real good.

All in all it wasn’t too bad. Now do my nails look perfect?? Heck To The NO!! I think if I didn’t go all cray cray and paint them like a beast to really test the product it would have worked wonderfully!

So moral of the story if you have issues getting nail polish everywhere and you paint your nails like a normal person then you will love this stuff!
Hope you are all having a good Monday! Red lips

Makeup Monday - Ipsy

I just realized I never posted my February or March Ipsy Bags.
Because I am the worst blogger eva!!

Pretty much liked all of the products in both bags. I have yet to try out the nail polish in February's yet cause red is more of a fall/winter color not really spring.

I especially loved the February bag itself. So stinkin cute!!
