Flashy Friday–Mini Vacay

We took a mini vacay to the Gulf to go Scalloping and then headed south to Treasure Island and here are just a handful of the bazillion pictures I took.

We had a blast snorkeling and scalloping. If you have never been you need to go!!

Hubby doesn’t get much room for vacation he has it just hard to take it so we took a couple days to decompress at the beach and the sunsets both nights were so pretty!

Our last night there the clouds were making all kinds of shapes.

My little friend. He was just a posing…you know I wanted to name him and take him home. LOL

The water is sooo flat over there. I always forget you could literally take a float out there unlike our side where a float would be toast by the first wave.

And a self portrait..Bahahahaha there are literally no pictures of me at the beach not even a selfie…..

Yesterday we spent most of the day at my sisters visiting and eating the usual 4th of July meal of hamburger/hot dogs!

Then we came home to this hot mess express cause even though it was like 4 hours til dark fire crackers were already going off all around us. He was panting like a mad man and was ready for some blanket fort time with his dinosaur.

I was super proud of him this year. He calmed down about 45 minutes after the fireworks in our hood started and I was able to go outside and try to get some pictures of the fireworks.

Nothing super fancy since these were not professional fireworks!

The Sky Is The Limit

Right??

I went out last night to try my hand a photographing the night sky…Let’s just say my camera app for nighttime does a whole lot better then I do with my DSLR. It was bad…

Like just a big blob of black with a orb bad!

So I added some stars in PSE. It’s still my photo and I made the stars so it counts right???

Then today I was trying to get some light flare which I got a bit of but I wanted to jazz it up.

So with the help of The Coffee Shop blog I made a little bit artistic.

I have been following her blog for a while and I love how she goes through the steps to really teach you how to do stuff.

I guess I better enjoy these blue skies cause according to our weatherman we are in for a soggy weekend.

Just a few pictures I have taken over the past couple days:

Matilda because duh she is gorgeous!! LOL

Ya’ll our yard does not know what to do with itself since the South doesn’t know what dang season it is.

My aloe & green onions are going nuts.

It feels like spring here not winter.

And the weeds are coming up everywhere which makes me sad cause that means grass will start coming back in soon and Matt will be blowed up with a rash. Joys of having a dog allergic to everything…

Plus these little cuties keep showing up in our yard cause I think they are just as confused as the weather!!!
