Cargo Destination Gorgeous

Me and my friend Sherri were at Kohls yesterday and found this little gem on sale for $10.00 plus we both had Kohls cash so essentially it was free.

The only issue is I could not find hardly any swatches to know if it was even worth the ten bucks.

So when I got home I immediately cracked it open and did a swatch fest of the whole thing I was like meh.

IMG_5966

This is just straight out of the box with no primer. The bottom 2 rows are very pretty so I would definitely pay $10, (or free in our case with the Kohls cash), but I would not pay $25.

I decided to break out one of my eye primers and test it even further.

It does have very pretty packaging!

Blushes (although I would call the second one a bronzy highlight type shade).

IMG_5976

4 lip glosses which are very shear to kinda of non existent which was a bit of a bummer but you can build a little. Thinking smile

I hope that helps anyone out and about shopping this weekend or if you are wanting to spend your Kohls cash and run across this palette.

Have a great Saturday!! Red lips

New Project With Shabby Paints

I started painting this last weekend.

IMG_5899

This thing is a beast and I have never liked the faux oak look but it’s functional so I did not want to get rid of it.

I did some research on chalk paint and from what I found Shabby Paints was the easiest to use with no sanding or buffing and  the top coat was easy peasy to use. So I found a local store that sold it and started my project this past Saturday.

IMG_5903

My intentions were to paint the outside Saturday and then paint the inside Sunday but it was going so well I did two coats on the outside and one coat on the inside Saturday. I was regretting that Saturday night when my body was rebelling against me. Crying face

IMG_5900IMG_5908

IMG_5904

Sunday I woke up and started bright and early to finish the inside. I did the next coat and then the reVax clear coat and was done by noon.

IMG_5906

I was originally going to paint the whole inside but decided I would let this cure for a few days and paint the back of the inside with some buffalo brown and add a little brown bronze shimmer mixed in it to make it pop.

I am feeling a little crummy today so I will have to wait for the last of this project to start. Sick smile But I will show you as soon as it is all done.

Makeup Monday- Nude Lips

I got this lip balm by NYX in the shade Marshmallow back in December in my Ipsy bag. It is described as a pure nude and boy is that on point.

I use it a lot under lipsticks or liners to create a nice nude base, but Friday when I put it on I was like where did my lips go and why don't I ever wear this by itself.

I mean yes my lips vanish but it is still a pretty lip balm for those days when you just don't want to wear liner or lipstick or just want a nude lip but want some hydration at the same time.

Oh and it smells like candy so there is that too LOL.

I had not done my hair yet and it was 20 degrees outside hence the sweat shirt.
Happy Monday. Red lips

More Bzz- Weight Watchers Cereal

I tried the Frosted Shredded Wheat with protein I was sent from MOM brands last week in this post HERE.

I am now trying the Oat Clusters with cherries and almonds they also sent me.

I liked the shredded wheat a tad bit more but shredded wheat is normally my favorite so that was no surprise but I really did enjoy this cereal.

It kinda reminded me of Special K vanilla almond a little bit which I love so I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Here are all the nutrition details from the box:

My one an only complaint with this cereal is how big the cherries are. I like my fruit to be a little bit smaller in cereal like in raisin bran but it is not so much of a complaint I would not buy it again

Happy Wednesday!

I was sent these products free as a bzz agent but these are my personal honest opinions. No one paid me or told me I had to give a good/bad review of this product.

February Ipsy Glam Bag

  make up monday new

It’s Ipsy Bag time and it came on Friday just in time for Valentine’s Day.

First off I love the makeup bag. It is super cute.

IMG_5768

My first item was this Mitchell and Peach fine radiance face oil. I used it last night and it sinks in really nice and has a nice scent. My only complaints is it was hard to get out and it ships out of the UK so I imagine shipping costs might be a issue, but I have not tried to order any so it may be easy peasy with the coupon code ipsy provides. Full size retails for £30 which is $46.15 USD.

IMG_5769

Next was a cute little sample of JOYA composition No. 1 Parfum Oil. The scent is fresh, outdoorsy with a hint of baby powder/rose if you ask me. I actually like it but it may not be for everyone. The full size roller ball retails for $30.

IMG_5770

I also received this little gem from ModelCo in the color Peach Bellini. It is gorgeous and just might be my favorite product in the bag. I think it would be pretty as a eye shadow as well. It is full size and retails for $22.

IMG_5772IMG_5774

I also received a very pretty eye shadow from Medusa’s Makeup in the color headhunter. It is a very pretty plum with a little bit of shimmer.  It was a tad powdery but the pigmentation was good. It is full size and retails for $8.

IMG_5773IMG_5775

And last but not least I received a glitter polish from China Glaze in the color Marry A Millionaire.  It is perfect for Mardis Gras or Fat Tuesday tomorrow. It is full size and retails for $5.50 at Wal-Mart.

IMG_5771

What is funny is I just bought this sinful polish to wear tomorrow from Wal-Mart the other day, but I think the china glaze might be a better color match for the day.

IMG_5776IMG_5777

It was so hard to photograph but here are some pics in different lighting.

The photos just don’t do it justice.

I will try to do a side by side comparison for next Monday of the two.

I hope you all have a great Monday! Red lips
