Loreal Revitalift Bzz Review

Bzz Agent IMG_5743

sent me the Revitalift Bright Reveal from Loreal on October 22nd so I have been using them for over a month. I wanted to give them a good month of use before I reported back my thoughts. Winking smile

The claim to this line is basically it will visibly brighten skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, resurface dull, uneven tone and texture to reveal youthful skin.

I am going to start with my least favorite to my most favorite.

(I have combo skin for reference and I still get break outs on occasion.)

~

First up is the Brightening Peel Pads. It is supposed to peel away dull, uneven tone and reveal brighter skin and reduce wrinkles.

These actually made my skin on my face tingle/burn a bit which I am not thoroughly fond of so I only used these on my chest and neck. It also does not sink into the skin fast so it is tacky for a bit.

I did not really notice much of a difference in my lines and wrinkles or with my skin tone with this product unfortunately but I also did not use it on my face so I can’t really say it doesn’t work. Confused smileI will check back at a later date with this one…Maybe in a talkin’ trash post.

The pads are a nice thickness and they do have a lot of the liquid absorbed in them which I like in this type of product.

~

Next up is their Brightening Daily Scrub Cleanser. It is supposed to gently exfoliate dullness and visibly reveal radiance.

This is supposed to be used every morning and night. I quickly realized that is too much for my skin!! I went back to using my Murad cleanser and only used this two or three times a week at night and that worked perfectly. I have noticed a difference in the texture of my skin with this product and the creams so I do believe with more time using it I will notice even more of a difference.

IMG_7043

I love how gentle it is and it has just the right amount of little scrubbies.

The next two products were my favorite out of the whole line. They are the brightening day moisturizer and the brightening dual overnight moisturizer.

The brightening day moisturizer claims to visibly brighten skin, even tones & reduces wrinkles. I can say with certainty that is has made my skin look brighter and some of my dark spots seem lighter but as for my fine lines I have not noticed much of a difference yet.

IMG_7045

I like the consistency of the day cream and best part is it did not break me out.

IMG_7047

The brightening dual overnight moisturizer claims to visibly refine clarity and tone and reduce wrinkles. Again I am seeing a difference in texture and tone but as for wrinkles the jury is still out.

IMG_7046

This comes out with the serum on one side and the cream on the other. What I like to do is rub the serum in and then do the cream like I would with my other serums and creams.

IMG_7049

Both the day and night cream sink into the skin quickly.

Hope this helps and hope you are having a great Tuesday!!!

Paula’s Choice Resist Hyaluronic Acid Booster

I was sent these Paula’s Choice Resist Hyaluronic Acid Booster Samples from bzz agent back in May.

IMG_7791

This picture was taken around the same time.. What can I say May was a busy month of volunteering so no time for a before close up picture sans makeup. Sorry I am sure you are heartbroken not to see that hot mess LOL! Rolling on the floor laughing

IMG_7841

Anywho’s this is a hyaluronic acid booster that is supposed to plump fine lines and prevent moisture loss. It is a pretty simple product to use you just add a few drops to your regular moisturizer.

First off I am not to fond of the packaging. The little tube makes it hard to get the product out.

IMG_9234IMG_9235

Full size retails for $45.00 and a trial size retails for $9.00. I am glad they offer trial sizes of most of their products to test out before you spend the big bucks.Money

It is a clear gel consistency and I mixed it with my Laneige water bank gel cream during the day and the Laneige water bank serum at night.

This was taken just a few days ago:

I dunno I gave it a fair shake but I am not seeing much of a difference.  Granted I don’t have a huge amount of wrinkles. I think it may have been causing some break outs too but I can’t be sure if it was the hyaluronic booster or the combo of the moisturizer and the booster.  Maybe it would be more compatible with a Paula’s Choice Moisturizer. I think if we had been sent one along with the hyaluronic booster that may have been a better product experiment.

That is just my two cents but it might work fabulously for you!!! I do absolutely love Paula’s Choice Resist BHA’s so I definitely think you should check them out.

They sent me a code for 20% off your next order plus free shipping if you are interested in trying any of their products: PRBZZ20 (code expires July 31, 2015)

My son popped it in the oven.

More Bzz- Weight Watchers Cereal

I tried the Frosted Shredded Wheat with protein I was sent from MOM brands last week in this post HERE.

I am now trying the Oat Clusters with cherries and almonds they also sent me.

I liked the shredded wheat a tad bit more but shredded wheat is normally my favorite so that was no surprise but I really did enjoy this cereal.

It kinda reminded me of Special K vanilla almond a little bit which I love so I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Here are all the nutrition details from the box:

My one an only complaint with this cereal is how big the cherries are. I like my fruit to be a little bit smaller in cereal like in raisin bran but it is not so much of a complaint I would not buy it again

Happy Wednesday!

BZZ–Weight Watchers Cereal

Nothing like opening your door and seeing that bee tape on a package waiting for you.

IMG_5696

Always means something good is inside.

I am trying the Weight Watchers cereals for free thanks to MOM Brands.

IMG_5697

I don’t know much about weight watchers points and stuff but I could use to loose a couple pounds. Winking smile

The site says that it has real fruit, whole grains and only 3-5 PointsPlus® value per serving.
You can read more about the Points Plus calculations by clicking this link.

I tried the frosted shredded wheat with protein this morning.

IMG_5707

I have always loved shredded wheat even as a child. I know I was a weird child. This is just as good as any shredded wheat I have tried so I give it an A.

Here are all the goods on it from the packaging.

IMG_5708IMG_5709

And there are a bunch of varieties of these cereals.

IMG_5710

I will give the Oat Clusters with cherries a try this week as well and report back.

Christmas Eve Morning

I woke up at 6 this morning because my husbands alarm went off and I could not go back to sleep. story of my life

So at 8 I decided what better way to spend my time then to make some peanut butter balls
One may have been eaten as my breakfast ;)

Then it was time to address the elephant grey hair in the room!!

I went to my favorite stylist the other day to get my hair cut but had to resist the urge to have her color my hair since I was sent the new Vidal Sassoon Stylist kit to test out for free from bzz agent.

Staring at my grey poking thru as she was styling my hair was almost to much for me! I just wanted them covered up.

I mean I could pass as Mrs. Claus with these roots :/
Not that there is anything wrong with Mrs. Claus. I am sure she is a lovely lady ;)

These bad boys needed to go and today was the day!

I always keep makeup wipes handy and apply some Alba un-petroleum to my hair line so I don't end up with a lovely ring of hair color from any oops I might make!! (that tip was compliments of one of Kandee Johnson's videos)

Mixing up the first step was pretty easy peasy. Just mix it up and apply 3/4 of the mixture to all of your roots, clean yourself up and then wait 20 minutes for the second step.

My only issue was they provided one set of gloves (say what!!!). You have to remove the gloves while you wait the 20 minutes then try to get those little gems back on without getting hair color all over you and not to mention they don't really fit that great the second time around.

can you tell waiting is not my strong suit!

I had spare gloves but I decided since I was testing this out I needed to go with only what was in the box.

The next step you just mix in the serum to the rest of the mixture and apply it to the rest of your hair.

Then wait 10 minutes and rinse it out, wash your hair and apply the colour perserve conditioner.

Style and let the festivities begin!!!!

I think it turned out really pretty and frosty approves ;)

Now off to put some chocolate on those peanut butter balls :)

Have a Very Merry Christmas Eve everyone xoxo
