First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. 2oz tube retails for $12.00

Sundays nail polish in the shade No. 18. Retails for $18.00

The only two fails for me were the Hanalei Bronzer because it was too dark and the Smashbox lipstick cause I can’t stand liquid lipstick. Other then that all the products I have been using and haven’t had any issues.

June 2018 Ipsy Bag

My bag this month is a cute striped yellow perfect for summer but everyone got different shades of the striped bags and the theme is Flying Colors.

I received:

A charcoal clay bubble mask from the brand SOO AE. I tried it and it’s a cool concept but not sure it’s my thing. I did not really notice much difference in the way my skin felt after using it but I’ve only tried one of the packets. I will say I wish it came with one of the screw caps like some do now cause I definitely did not use all the product and probably could have gotten two uses out of one packet. Retails for $3.00 and looks like you can buy them at Walmart.

An illuminating highlighter in the shade Midnight Sun from Nomad Cosmetics. This is a very pretty highlight and applies nicely. I love how they packaged the sample cause it’s a cute little compact and easy to travel with. Full size retails for $17.00

Pure anywhere balm in Rose by Feel Beauty. This was very nice on my lips and was not sticky at all. You can also use it on your cheeks and eyes. Full size retails for $15

Step 1 skin equalizer hydrating primer from Make Up For Ever. I did not think I was going to like this since my skin in Combo but I was pleasantly surprised. It goes on nicely and sinks right into the skin and doesn’t make me oily through out the day. Full size retails for $37.00 Disappointed smile

Lastly is the Mineral 5 eyeshadow palette in Tomboy Vibe by Pacifica. This palette is really pretty and very pigmented. I have used it twice and the shadows blend very nicely. This is a Ipsy exclusive so it’s not sold on Pacifica’s site which is a bummer for those that might have wanted to purchase this palette. Sad smile

May 2018 Ipsy Bag

This months theme is “Go There” which is a travel inspired bag that is covered in passport stamps. It’s pretty cute!

I received:

A SL Miss Glam sparkle everyday beauty sponge. I was pretty excited to try this since I hear Sam Schuerman talking about this all the time in her videos.

The shape reminds me a lot of my Flower Beauty Sponge which is my absolute favorite sponge but when I wet the SL Miss Glam sponge it did not expand very much…. Sam’s always gets all poofy like my flower beauty one but this one doesn’t so maybe I got a dud?? Anyway I have to be honest I was a bit disappointed in how it performed Sad smile my foundation just kind of slipped and slided around my face and the sponge picked up a ton of product. I went and watched videos from the creator on her YouTube channel and she was applying it dry so I tried that the next day and it worked much better. So I dunno I will give it a bit more time using it to see if maybe the sponge just needs to be washed a couple times so it will expand properly. Retails for $17.50!

Tarte Cosmetics Smooth Operator Amazonian clay finishing powder. I already own this in a mini and I love it! I alternate this and Makeup Forever ultra HD as my finishing powders. Retails for $33!

Tony Moly painting therapy pack. This is a lava & kaolin clay mask that detoxifies your skin but without that awful tight feeling. I have tried this twice and I really like it. My skin feels really soft after using it. Retails for $6.50!

Sugar Cosmetics arch arrival brow definer in the shade taupe tom. I have used this twice and it’s okay but not something I think I would repurchase. The tip just seems a little to wide and angled weird and it was a bit patchy with the first use but the second time I used it was fine.. Retails for $12.99!
