The only two fails for me were the Hanalei Bronzer because it was too dark and the Smashbox lipstick cause I can’t stand liquid lipstick. Other then that all the products I have been using and haven’t had any issues.

May 2017 Ipsy Bag

This months bag is super cute and very summery! Perfect for by the pool or at the beach.

I received:

A precision foundation brush from Luxie Beauty. I have several Luxie brushes and I love every single one of them. I think I would probably use this for setting concealer more then for a foundation brush. Retails for $23.00 (IPSY660)

The next item is a very pretty blue organic gel effect nail polish in the shade Surfer Girl from Adesse New York. I think there may have been some spillage cause it had a tiny bit on the outside but that’s okay. I have not tried it yet but from the reviews I am excited to test it out. This next product is pretty fun. It is a Artist Edition lux long wear star stamp + liner from Starlooks. I am no spring chicken but I still think this would be cute to play with for a night out. Retails for $19.00 (IPSY)

A creamy matte lipstick in the shade Nude from Mellow Cosmetics. Ya’ll know how I feel about matte lipsticks if you have read any of my Makeup Mondays. I am not a fan and wish the trend would just die already….but slap on a good lip balm and put this over it and I really like it. I tried it with just lightly moisturized lips and just NO dry desert lips is not a good look on anyone I don’t care how long it lasts. Retails for $13.00 (Ipster)

And lastly the afterglow highlight in Sin by Urban Decay. I love this so I had to get a swatch by the pool so you could see it in all its glory and well this is the start to summer bag. It is gorgeous!!! Full size retails for $26.00

I also received this Estee Lauder Double Wear To Go by trading in some of my Ipsy points. I have used it once so far and really like it.

Pacifica Blushious coconut & rose infused cheek color in the shade wildrose. Retails for $12.00.

This took a lot to build up for a swatch but I have not used it on my cheeks yet so it might not be that way when you apply it.

August Ipsy Bag

Matilda was my helper opening this months Ipsy bag!

The bag was created by Ipsy’s founder Michelle Phan. It’s concept was to inspire the beautiful dreamer in all of us. It’s pretty cute right??

I received:

Ofra Dupethat Highlighter/Eyeshadow in the shade You Glow Girl. It is a really pretty pink highlighter. A full size retails for $24.95.(IPSY30)

My camera was making this look more peach but it is more pink.

Beauty For Real I-Line 24/7 eyeliner in the shade black magic. This is a really nice black eyeliner that goes on creamy so you can blend and smudge it but once it sets it is not going anywhere. Took dawn to get this swatch off my hand. LOL It retails for $14.00 (IPSY20)

Organic Surge Daily Care Perfecting Face Polish. I have not tried this yet but from the reviews on their site I think I will like it. Full size retails for $7.63.

This Works In Transit Camera Close-up mask, moisturizer and primer in one. I have not tried this yet either but I think it is pretty interesting. It claims to rapidly erase signs of fatigue, boost hydration and preps the skin for photo perfect makeup. Full size retails for $55.00…OUCH (IPSYAUG)

Ciate London nail polish in the shade Dangerous Affair. This is a perfect color for fall and I can’t wait to try it. Retails for $17.00 (IPSTER)

All in all I think this was a pretty darn good bag this month.

(sorry the lighting in my pics is jacked I think the setting on my camera got messed up somehow so gonna have to fix that STAT!)
