Blog Guilt

I am a lazy blog bum.

There I said it.

I neglect my blog like nobody’s business. I see it on my toolbar and just look away pretending it is not staring me in the face…Saying please write a post pleaaaaaaseCrying face.

I really wish I could get back into the swing of blogging or even doing meme’s. But I just leave my poor little blog on the backburner of my life.

So I feel guilty that I am a crummy blogger.

I would say I will try to do better but let’s be honest I will probably write some posts, pick them apart and then never post them.

Gone are the days when I would just jump on blogger write whatever was on my mind and hit the post button. SighI don't know smile...

One day I will snap out of this blog funk…One day

Guilty As Charged

image

I should have Mother’s Guilt Tattooed across my forehead.

When my son was little I did not feel well all the time from the emotional and physical roller coaster from my lovely hormones after he was born and then after the loss of 3 babies. I would feel so guilty because I felt horrible physically and could not spend as much time outside with him as I would have liked too because I was sooo hot all the time from the hormone imbalance.

The hormones finally got in check and now that he has gotten older it has just become a whole new ball game of guilt.

Anything can cause me to feel Mother's guilt. If I raise my voice in the slightest I feel guilty, if we can’t do something he wants to do I feel guilty, if I send his friends home because Mommy would like some peace and quiet for one day I feel guilty, if the store doesn’t have the right kind of chicken nuggets for the poor child I feel guilty, this list could go on and on. It is a daily occurrence around here that I feel guilty for something, I think that just comes with the whole Mom territory.

I even have Mommy puppy guilt with Ginger since she has one eye and all, I feel guilty anytime she stares up at me wanting a treat, I just have to give her one,who could deny this face.

I am just a hot mess when it comes to Mommy Guilt.

Time to cut back / Summer days are here again

I chose #1

If I could cut back on something in my life that takes up a lot of my time it would have to be my computer time. I know I need my mouth washed out with soap for typing thatWash_mouth_out_soap_small,

but I do spend way to much time blogging, tweeting, facebooking (is that a word….) and e-mailing. I need to start spending more time with Bub over the summer outdoors and watching movies and stuff so my posts may be shorter and not everyday.. See I only did one question this time, I am making progress alreadywink.jpg. And just because I am trying to consolidate my blog time…two posts in one:

SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER:

Now everyone give a big round of applause

soundboard.com and sing

I'm so excited,
And I just can't hide it.
I'm about to lose control,
And I think I like it.

Here are the Prompts for this week:
1.) If you could cut back on something in your life that takes up your time what would it be? And what would you prefer to spend that time doing?
(inspired by Lady Isra)
2.) Share a recent adventure you had with a friend.
(inspired by Amy)
3.) Describe a memorable gift. Why was it important to you?
(Inspired by Kit Kat)
4.) If you could change career paths now and be anything you wanted to be...what would you be and why?
(inspired by Lauren)
5.) Kim's email:
In the St. Louis News-Dispatch paper, they had an article of a man who wrote his own obituary before his death, and gave it to his sister to post when he died. He summed life up in 45 words:(I know it's a morbid subject, but what about a prompt about what would one's obit say, with a word limit. You could stipulate that everyone died at 100, so we'd all be predicting what our future would be like.
So there you have it. Sum up life in 45 words. :) Happy happy.
(Inspired by Kim)

Which one will YOU choose??

Dinner??

Mama Kat at Mama's Losin' It hosts writers workshop every week and this week here are the prompts: I am going to try to do them all so here goes--

1.) Book review!

Jesus Calling is an awesome book for daily devotional.

2.) When is it okay not to listen to the words? Explain about a song you really love that has lame lyrcis or lyrics you simply don't understand.(writingfix.com)

hmm drawing a total blank.......

3.) Why won't you forget? List six true sentences that begin with the words 'I'll never forget...' Then use all six of your sentences in a paragraph, poem, or longer descriptive piece.

I'll never forget my wedding day to the only man on earth that will put up with me.
I'll never forget the birth of my son even though it was painful it was the best day ever.
I'll never forget Mindy, I miss her a lot.
I'll never forget how blessed I am to have such great friends and family.
I'll never forget all the great times in High school with my friend Shannyn, we did some crazy stuff but we always had a blast.
I'll never forget all the country festivals with my friend Dana, we had so much fun.

I did not write a paragraph, poem or longer description--no time today:)

4.) Write about an interaction you had with a salesman.

I hardly ever have interactions with salesmen. I usually look away and hope that if I can't see them anymore, they can't see me...ahahaha or say no thanks and keep walking.

5.) What's for dinner? I'm starving.

What's for dinner? Good question, since for the last 2 weeks I keep forgetting to pull anything out in the morning to thaw out to fix for dinner. So for the last two weeks it has been, quesadillas, pizza, hot dogs, sandwiches, and wraps. I did manage to make sausage and rice one night. I basically have made anything that did not entail actual cooking. Tonight is no exception, I have been running around like a mad women all day and after school, even though I pulled out ground meat this morning it is not thawed..errr...so back to the drawing board. What's for Dinner --Who knows?? My poor family, I really need to get it together in the dinner department.
