January Ipsy Glam Bag

This months bag theme was fresh start for the new year.

The bag has a different color on each side. I must be honest it is not my favorite for a makeup bag.

I had a extra product in my bag this month because I traded in some of my points to try this BB repair cream by Bumble & Bumble.

The first product that was in the actual bag was this all over eye shadow brush by Elizabeth Mott. First off I love how cute it is. It is very soft but I have not used it on my lid yet so I am not sure how well it works. It retails for $9.99

Next up was this eyeliner by Hikari in the color storm. It is a grey eyeliner that comes in mechanical pencil form and it retails for $13.00

I also received this lip gloss from Velvet 59 in the color Noisette. It has a tutti fruitti kind of scent so if that is not your thing you might not like this. The color was very nice. It is sticky at first but that goes away rather quick and is pretty comfortable on the lips. It retails for $19.00

I left the liner on for a bit then rubbed it like crazy & it stayed put pretty well on my hand but I have not worn in yet on my eyes to see how it wears during the day.

Next up a Pacifica natural mineral coconut eye shadow in the color Ethereal. This would be a pretty as a brow bone color I think. My only issue with this product is you can’t find it on the site in this color so if I wanted to get more I have no clue how to purchase it. I can’t even tell you what it retails for cause I can’t find the singular shade. But their coconut infused palettes run for $14.00

And my last product was La Fresh Eco Beauty good day, day moisturizer. I have not opened this yet so I have no opinion so far but the reviews on their site from other ipsters are good. A full size retails for $40.00

I also bit the bullet and bought a Sigma E40 that everyone raves about. I was ordering something for my son from amazon and needed a couple more bucks to get free shipping soooo We shall see if this little brush is all it’s cracked up to be.

Organizing…Does It Ever End

Today we tackle the linen closet.

Well actually yesterday I did when it was all gloom and doom outside for the umpteenth day in a row. I thought I lived in the Sunshine State??

I have said it once and I will say it again.

Linen Closets are of the devil.

It’s like you put linens in there and they multiply like gremlins.

I pulled everything out and started sorting. If you would believe under what you see in the first photo some of it was sorted by season a little bit already but got all jumbled.

Not to bad right….

Oh and remember all those candles I bought yesterday?

Those storage boxes are chockfull of tealights and votives.

There was also still more stuff in the closet.

At this point Tilda decided she might need to assess the situation. Can you even see her?

And at that point I had a mini melt down and took a skinny cow break.

Had a nice pep talk with myself. Doesn’t everyone do that??  and then forced myself to carry on.

Tilda was front and center helping.

Ya’ll think I kid but her and Ginger are literally my shadows.

If I die from a broken neck it is going to be cause I tripped over one of them!!

Yay finally done!

A major improvement if I do say so myself.

Bye bye spacebags. These are cool and all but they make your linens stink. I had to wash everything that was in these.

Ginger was super excited to sit and snooze on all the stinky linens that were in the space bags so guess who is getting a bath today ↓↓↓↓
