Teeny Tiny Shopping Spree/PSA

This is a super tiny "haul" ← total honesty I hate that word. I am not pulling or dragging stuff home with effort and I rarely have to force someone to go shopping so haul just has never made much sense to me?? But I also dislike shopping spree sooo what do I call it?

I digress...

First item up is some items from Desert Essence. I love this brand. I use their shampoos & oils. They had a sale in January on their organic products so I scooped up these three items.  I have used the Jojoba and Jojoba & Coconut before but the Jojoba, Coconut & Coffee oil is new. I figured it was worth a shot since Coffee stimulates the skin and with summer around the corner might as well start tightening up that lovely cellulite we all have..Right!

Then yesterday I was at Marshals and spotted this for $9.99. I have always wanted to try BH Cosmetics brushes cause I was too much youtube and everyone says they are good!

I mainly wanted it for the 101 brush because it is supposed to be like the original sigma E40 that everyone raves about. I got the E40 but after they changed it and to be honest the new version is scratchy and not very fluffy. I hardly ever reach for it.

All the brushes are soft and I have already tested out the large & small shader brush, pencil brush and the 101 blending brush and I love them all!  So if you can find it at Marshall's or TJ Maxx scoop it up. You can also get this package on BH cosmetics for $10.00 + shipping or on Amazon for $11.00 + 4.99 shipping.

Okay now for the PSA

If you are in the market for a new mascara and are think about picking up the Bare Minerals Lash Domination,,,

DON'T!! 

For $19 it's not worth it to me. You could find a drugstore mascara that works better.

Unless you like transferring, clumpy lashes and are not sensitive to chemical smells then maybe it's  right up your alley. 

It transfers like crazy and the smell (GAG) plus the clumping! Um no just no!!!

Mine was new so unless it was old from sitting on the shelf in the store I am not sure why it had such a chemical smell. I like most of my other bare mineral products but this was definitely a fail for me. 

So there ya go that is my microscopic spree/haul/please give me another word for this and PSA. I hope you all (what 5 of you ) have a fantastic Tuesday. 

Teeny Tiny Haul

Yesterday I finally left the house and went shopping with a friend.

We went to the Mall and I got some Christmas shopping done so I can't show that on the blog but I finally found a Fall mug when we ventured over to Pier One.

I have been on the hunt since the beginning of October and no one had any and I really did not want to order one.

I absolutely love it. It is simple and screams Fall and it was only $6.95!

Now I have something to drink my ick tea in (green tea with no sugar/honey per acupuncturists orders) Woot Woot!!

We also went to the new Home Goods. Can you believe I have never stepped foot in one. Reminds me of Marshalls/TJ Max but with only home stuff and I Am In LOVE with this place!!!

I got some Christmas stuff there too so can't show it but look at these yummy things I scored.

There website had really good reviews on their regular pancake mix and breads so I figured at $3.99 why not. I can not wait to try them and I will report back.

A mug and some carbohydrates....It's the little things in life that truly make me happy!

Fall Finds

Last week I ventured out a couple times. My back paid dearly but I was sick of being in the house.

I hit up the dollar spot in Tarjay (Target if you don't want to be fancy but who doesn't want to be fancy??) with my parents and scored these cute fall items. Most of it was in the $3 range except the witch sign it was $1 and it is double sided.

Then I went off with my sister and Mom and found these cute place mats for Thanksgiving at Ross for $4.99 each. There are four in each pack. My sister pretty much told me I had to have them. She is an enabler to my shopping addiction!! 

On the same day I found this super cute sign for my front door at Bealls outlet for $9.99. Also picked out by non other then my sister! 

And this Yankee candle that smells like candy corn and buttercream for $9.99 and these are usually $24.99 so I was super excited about that.

National Donut Day

Today is National Donut Day if you live under a rock and didn't know! LOL

You get a free donut with purchase of a drink at Dunkin Donuts and just a free donut for showing up at Krispy Kreme!

So of course we went and partook in the festivities!

We also went and had a yummy lunch at Panera because when you are a donut addict you have to balance it with a salad am I right!!

I also swung by Walgreens to see if they had any of the new Belle collection.

And what do you know these jumped in my cart!

The wristlet was only $7.99 and the cute makeup bag was $9.99. The cute little lippes were $1.99 and I tried the red one already and was shocked. I thought they would be shear but they have good color and feel very nice on the lips.

I also saw these Ardell Wispies in cute Elsa packaging on sale too. They were $7.99 and are now only $4.19. I don't where false lashes but I know these are popular so I thought I would share in case anyone wants to run to Walgreens and snag some up.

And now my back is killing me so I am watching GH in my yoga pants and slippers. I am gonna miss Anthony Geary when he retires.

Another Day Another Shopping Trip

Did a little more shopping today at our local outdoor mall.

A little bit of eating at Maggiano's with leftovers of course.

A little bit of duck and turtle watching.

Bathed one humongous dog.

Tilda always gets a little concerned when Matt comes inside!

And got a donut delivery from the best parents a girl could ask for.

Heels, Deals and anxiety

Well I found some heels yesterday for our big trip -- easy spirits, so hopefully I will be comfy. I never wear heels unless they are attached to boots. I have a love hate relationship with them. I love the way they look, but hate them after 30 minutes of having them on . My hair stylist told me to go with a wedge, since she stands on her feet all day I decided that was the way to go.

I found a great deal at the coach outlet on a cute little evening wristlet for the formal dinner we have to attend.. a $98.00 purse for 20 bucks, I was a happy camper:)

Now for the anxiety, I have a tendancy to get very anxious before trips. I am not scared of flying, just traveling in general makes me nervous. I always worry about the packing and hoping we get there safely and if Bub and Ginger will be o.k. while we are gone.. Just all the loose ends you have to do before you leave makes me insane.. I also have a mild case of hyperhidrosis and right now it is acting up since I am anxious and it is driving me crazy.

I just wish I could have this care free attitude, makes you just want to crawl up beside her and go to sleep without a care in the world... So pray for me guys, that we will make it thru this week anxiety free and safely there and back.
