Organizing…Does It Ever End

Today we tackle the linen closet.

Well actually yesterday I did when it was all gloom and doom outside for the umpteenth day in a row. I thought I lived in the Sunshine State??

I have said it once and I will say it again.

Linen Closets are of the devil.

It’s like you put linens in there and they multiply like gremlins.

I pulled everything out and started sorting. If you would believe under what you see in the first photo some of it was sorted by season a little bit already but got all jumbled.

Not to bad right….

Oh and remember all those candles I bought yesterday?

Those storage boxes are chockfull of tealights and votives.

There was also still more stuff in the closet.

At this point Tilda decided she might need to assess the situation. Can you even see her?

And at that point I had a mini melt down and took a skinny cow break.

Had a nice pep talk with myself. Doesn’t everyone do that??  and then forced myself to carry on.

Tilda was front and center helping.

Ya’ll think I kid but her and Ginger are literally my shadows.

If I die from a broken neck it is going to be cause I tripped over one of them!!

Yay finally done!

A major improvement if I do say so myself.

Bye bye spacebags. These are cool and all but they make your linens stink. I had to wash everything that was in these.

Ginger was super excited to sit and snooze on all the stinky linens that were in the space bags so guess who is getting a bath today ↓↓↓↓

Bath & Body Works Semi Annual Sale

I saw everyone and their grandmother going to the Bath and Body Works Semi Annual Sale so of course I jumped on that bandwagon.

The Pressure!!

I mean look at the duck who can resist that face.

I only went in for candles cause I got a bunch of lotions when they had their $5 deal back in November so I put my blinders on.

They had a ton of the twisted peppermint at my local store but it was slim pickin’s for some of the other scents and there were not many of the smaller $4 candles.

I kinda went a little crazy. But you can’t beat 50 to 75% off candles with a coupon.

I got the big candles for $8.27 and they are normally $22.50 and the smaller candles for $2.94 and they are normally $10 ($10 off $40 coupon link is below)

I think I am fully stocked for now or until the next semi annual sale!

I got twisted peppermint, cinnamon caramel swirl, fresh balsam fir in both brands, marshmallow fireside, winter white petals, holiday apple crisp and pumpkin sugared donut.

My house is gonna smell soo good.

I even came home and organized them in a dollar tree bin so they could go in the spare room closet!

I believe the sale ends the 19th or at least the coupon ends the 19th so hurry if you haven’t gone yet.

More organizing

Woke up to another gloomy day. 

I guess the sun only wanted to peek out at sunset last night and that was it for this week :/

So since I wasn't going anywhere today I got to work.

Wanna guess what was first up on my organizing agenda this morning??

At 8 am I might add. I am crazy I know!!!

But my fridge/freezer is all nice and clean now and organized as much a a refrigerator can be.

Next up were all my bags that had my PFA/PVO/Volunteer crap papers in them.

Tilda was my helper. Of course cause she is up my butt lately!

When that was done I had a nice pile of paper to shred but that will have to wait for another day or never.

Maybe we will just burn it in our next fire pit night! Yep that sounds much more fun.

I hate shredding papers!!

Since I was on a roll I decided it was time for a purse clean out.

After that I started to get another lovely headache so back in my yoga pants with my rice pack to watch some Food/DIY shows.
