Defeated

I started my morning off on the treadmill.

I am hoping doing a little more walking will help my back and my headaches. If I loose a couple pounds that will be a added bonus.

After my little workout I decided to tackle the oil spot in the garage.  My car had a bad leak for a while but we got it fixed for the most part and the rug that was under my car was nasty so I threw it out and googled how to clean up the oil residue underneath it. I put down some litter and a little bit of dry laundry detergent and let it sit while I worked on the guest room some more.

First up moving my white dresser that I have had since I was a teenager from that space in the garage to the hallway. I had to vacuum the heck out of it first.

IMG_5281IMG_5280

That thing is a beast. Thank goodness for those furniture mover things.

Next I went and moved all the random stuff that still needed to be organized in front of the closet so I could rearrange furniture.

IMG_5282IMG_5283

Ughhhhh I seriously wanted to close the door and call it a day at this point. Crying face

But I still had the beast to deal with.

Tilda was a big help not. I got the dresser turned how I wanted it in the room then moved it to the hallway and realized.

HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM.

IMG_5284IMG_5285

It took a lot of maneuvering to get it into the hallway. Crying face

IMG_5286

I finally got it where it needed to be and went to move the book shelf and I think the pictures are self explanatory. Crying face

IMG_5287IMG_5288

It literally went from one shelf falling to the whole thing collapsing in a matter of minutes.

I went and got my ole friend skinny cow and took a deep breath. May have said a few choice words!! Annoyed

IMG_5289

Stacked everything that I had not sorted and closed the door.

IMG_5290IMG_5300

DEFEATED Crying face

Then I walked back to the garage and decided to punish myself some more.

Swept up the litter/detergent concoction.

IMG_5293IMG_5294

Then put some more detergent down and sprayed it with water and scrubbed with a toothbrush because I could not find my scrub brush. Seriously who did I tick off today!! Sarcastic smile

IMG_5295IMG_5297

All clean and with the old rug down from Bub’s room in case we have anymore oil mishaps.

IMG_5303IMG_5304

That’s a wrap!!

My body can’t take anymore today.

Where is my Motrin and heating pad.

I hope you had a more relaxing Tuesday. Winking smile

January Ipsy Glam Bag

make up monday new

This months bag theme was fresh start for the new year.

The bag has a different color on each side. I must be honest it is not my favorite for a makeup bag.

IMG_5193IMG_5194

I had a extra product in my bag this month because I traded in some of my points to try this BB repair cream by Bumble & Bumble.

IMG_5195

The first product that was in the actual bag was this all over eye shadow brush by Elizabeth Mott. First off I love how cute it is. It is very soft but I have not used it on my lid yet so I am not sure how well it works. It retails for $9.99

IMG_5196IMG_5204

Next up was this eyeliner by Hikari in the color storm. It is a grey eyeliner that comes in mechanical pencil form and it retails for $13.00

IMG_5199IMG_5203

I also received this lip gloss from Velvet 59 in the color Noisette. It has a tutti fruitti kind of scent so if that is not your thing you might not like this. The color was very nice. It is sticky at first but that goes away rather quick and is pretty comfortable on the lips. It retails for $19.00

IMG_5200IMG_5205

I left the liner on for a bit then rubbed it like crazy & it stayed put pretty well on my hand but I have not worn in yet on my eyes to see how it wears during the day.

Next up a Pacifica natural mineral coconut eye shadow in the color Ethereal. This would be a pretty as a brow bone color I think. My only issue with this product is you can’t find it on the site in this color so if I wanted to get more I have no clue how to purchase it. I can’t even tell you what it retails for cause I can’t find the singular shade. Confused smile But their coconut infused palettes run for $14.00

IMG_5197IMG_5202

And my last product was La Fresh Eco Beauty good day, day moisturizer. I have not opened this yet so I have no opinion so far but the reviews on their site from other ipsters are good. A full size retails for $40.00

I also bit the bullet and bought a Sigma E40 that everyone raves about. I was ordering something for my son from amazon and needed a couple more bucks to get free shipping soooo Rolling on the floor laughing We shall see if this little brush is all it’s cracked up to be.
