This is what I came home to today and this is just one hallway. Matt likes to spread his toys out everywhere!!

He doesn’t understand what the big deal is. LOL

Bub Is Home

Bub went on a mission trip this week

and it has been rough here at the home front. Not only do I miss him when he is gone but our dog has the worst separation anxiety from him.

I tried sleeping with him the first night so he wouldn’t pace around at night and this pretty much sums up how much sleep I got. Can we say bed hog!!

The next few nights he just paced or moved from his bed to Ginger’s old bed to the love seat. Every morning even though he is not allowed on this couch Daddy’s rule not mine he would jump up and pass out cold cause I was finally awake and he felt he could sleep. I just let him cause he was so exhausted from pacing.

Basically:

But Bub called yesterday and wanted to come home a night early. He wasn’t getting good sleep either and they wouldn’t be doing mission work today so I went and got him.

Bub talked 90 to nothing about his week all the way home and captured these really pretty shots while going over a bridge.

When we got home Matt lost his mind. Even Tilda was like thank you Jesus now maybe I can get some good sleep too!! LOL

Bub was so exhausted he quick took a shower and passed out cold.

Matt was hilarious he kept laying down on the floor next to him then getting up and giving him drive by kisses while he was sleeping.

I didn’t get any pictures this morning but that dog slept like a baby last night and so did Bub…and so did we.

Hubby's Birthday & Matt's Gotcha Day

Yesterday was Brad's birthday.

I had a horrible migraine so I did not get many pictures.

That is as far as I got and then Bub took over and made the brownies for me while I went and laid down on the couch.

I had planned to get BBQ but just couldn't go anywhere so Brad bought subs on his way home from work. He opened his presents after dinner.

Here he is messing with his new speaker for his iPad!

Hopefully today we can go to dinner since my brother, sis-n-law and nephew will be in town.

It was also Matt's gotcha day since this was the day he showed up at our house 4 years ago.

He got lots of yummy treats and a toy which he quickly deaded (tore all the stuffing out of)!!

Matt's gotcha day

Today is also Matt's Gotcha/Birthday.

He is thoroughly enjoying his new toy!

He showed up at our house on hubby's birthday 2 years ago and after a month of searching for his owner we "adopted" him as our own. He is such a sweetheart and he is Bub's buddy! 

So today is his 4ish birthday :)

Brrrrr

I love this dog. I am glad he chose our home last Summer to take refuge from a storm.

This morning it is frigid for the sunshine state and he took his whole blanket that was on top of his igloo with him to eat breakfast even though he has a jacket on.

Then proceeded to carry it out into the yard to do his morning rolling in the grass. Needless to say Momma had to go save the blanket.
