Oatmeal Chocolate/Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

Yesterday I was watching Michael Castro’s vlog and he was eating Tate’s bake shop chocolate chip cookies and saying how good they were.

Sooo

Quick google search and I found that they are not sold everywhere but they are sold at Cracker Barrel. Just so happened my parents were near a Cracker Barrel and they went and grabbed me some and had some dinner since they were there and all. Winking smile

They made a cookie delivery this morning

&

YUM!!!

They are crispy chocolate chip cookies but they are super delicious.

Well because you can never have too many cookies I decided to also make Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies.

I popped over to my Pinterest and searched my dessert board for a recipe and found this one.

Whole Wheat Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Made With Coconut Oil

(I think I am obsessed with two peas and their pods recipes.)

I love that these cookies are made with coconut oil instead of butter cause I am always looking for recipes using it.

I did not have the dark chocolate chips that the recipe called for so I used some milk chocolate ones filled with peanut butter.

I got so excited I forgot to take pics of the first three steps. Whoopsy!  Smile with tongue out

The dough looked and tasted sooo good!!!

Here is the finished product.

Banana Pancakes

Since the dogs don't know what daylight savings time is I was up at 7 (or 6 if it was yesterday...sigh).

At 10 everyone was still snoozing so I decided to try a new pancake recipe I pinned last week.

(Click ↑ if you want the recipe)

First off I love their blog and have been following them for a very long time.

They make the most delicious stuff and their pictures always lure me in.

The prep work was easy peasy so even a new cook could prepare these.

As I was making and sampling them I was thinking these would be perfect cold as a snack with some nutella spread on top and some fresh bananas. Mmmmmm Yum!!!

And I think the base pancake recipe would be fabulous to make without the bananas as well but I also think I might try mooshing up a cup of apple pie filling to replace the bananas next time and see how that tastes.

Definitely check out the recipe it is worth it.

Guest Bedroom Done

Finally finished the guest bedroom redo.

Tilda thinks her new bed is the best thing ever!

I am so glad it is finally done. I still have a couple things I need to organize in there but they are small things that I am not stressing about.
