Praying For Texas

We have been glued to the TV and my heart is just broken for all those in Houston, Corpus Christi, Galveston and all the surrounding areas affected by Hurricane Harvey. We pray the water recedes quickly and clean up can start soon.

I feel so helpless here but I know from talking with friends who live in Dallas and Houston that soo many people are stepping up and volunteering. It really warms my heart to see everyone working together to make a huge difference in someone else's life.

Thank you to Zoolatry for the fur baby picture for Texas. H-Mama who lives in Houston said Convoy of Hope would be a good place to donate so that is where I donated & also to Dallas DogRRR for the fur babies but I have also heard that Best Friends is a good one for the fur babies too. JJ Watt is also doing some awesome fundraising too.

Flashy Friday–Mini Vacay

We took a mini vacay to the Gulf to go Scalloping and then headed south to Treasure Island and here are just a handful of the bazillion pictures I took.

We had a blast snorkeling and scalloping. If you have never been you need to go!!

Hubby doesn’t get much room for vacation he has it just hard to take it so we took a couple days to decompress at the beach and the sunsets both nights were so pretty!

Our last night there the clouds were making all kinds of shapes.

My little friend. He was just a posing…you know I wanted to name him and take him home. LOL

The water is sooo flat over there. I always forget you could literally take a float out there unlike our side where a float would be toast by the first wave.

And a self portrait..Bahahahaha there are literally no pictures of me at the beach not even a selfie…..
