Blog Slacker
Dang I have not blogged in almost a month !!!
My excuse is the end of April and all of May are always a busy time at school with different events so I am either up there or running around like a mad woman trying to get stuff done in between.
Here are just a few pictures from the past few weeks.
Lots of Starbucks. The new Smore’s Frappe is soooo good. I don’t get whip on top cause I think it is overkill and I get the low fat version so I don’t feel so guilty for drinking so much of it LOL!!
Also lots of Target shopping of course ↑ notice the red bag behind the Starbucks!!
~
Game nights. I need to get some more family games but I can’t find any I like that much.
~
We went to the zoo on one of the nice cooler days. Those days are long gone I am afraid. We went from spring to hotter then hades in one day.
~
The animals have been doing what they do best. Beg for food and sleep.
Oh and breaking out in their summer rash…..Ughhh.
We are keeping Matt inside more hoping to avoid prednisone this year but I think it is unavoidable. Gave him Benadryl only to find out very quickly that something was not right. Turns out the one I bought had red dye in it and he is allergic so double Ughhhhhh. Switched him to Claritin daily and he still is itchy but better. Bad thing is every time he comes in contact with the grass or the heat the rash comes back so he is indoor more then out for now.
Oh and Ginger has glaucoma now in her “good” eye so we have been dealing with that too. Animals…always something but I love my fur babies.

Celebrated Mother’s Day! Such a fun day!!!
~
Went to a Luncheon for fundraiser opportunities for the school.
~
Helping with a school play at my son’s old elementary.
That is all you get to see cause it is highly top secret. Muhahahaha!!
~
Oh and the best news ever. Went to my son’s ortho appointment thinking he was getting a refinement to his treatment and his Orthodontist said nope he is done. Woohoo no more invisalign.
The tech said no ever does the happy/celebration dance with her around the office and Bub being the good sport was like well I will.
I hope it does not take me another month to blog but if I am not back til the beginning of June forgive me it’s a busy month!

Weekend Wrap-up Pet Edition
A clean Matt equaled a very happy Matt on Friday night.
Because that meant he got to spend the night inside.
Which also meant Matt’s bed came in for a wash and that always makes Ginger happy.
Matt did go out for a bit to help Daddy with yard work Saturday
but he managed to not get to dirty so he could come back in for another slumber party.
Tilda was not thrilled the big black dog was in for the weekend so she stayed in our room most of the time only coming out to sniff him, use the potty and meow at him every now and then.
She was very happy when he went back out to his doggy mansion on Sunday so she could snuggle on the bean bag.
I spent a lot of the weekend cleaning, vacuuming and organizing the guest bedroom some more. The pile of stuff to go through is getting smaller. Woot Woot!!
And since it is Makeup Monday here is a look I did with the Lorac Duchess palette that I showed last week.
Muah
Happy Monday everyone!!!

Weekly Wrap Up
Monday we spent the day picking up some more things needed for the pool then worked in the yard, swam & grilled. It was a nice peaceful Memorial Day!
~
Tuesday I was at my sons old elementary school helping with a play. I have helped this particular class for the last 4 years so I was glad to be asked back to help with the set and behind the scenes stuff.
~
Wednesday was our civics field trip for the junior high.
We went to Tallahassee and visited the Supreme court, the old capitol building & the new capitol building.
Had Lunch at FSU stadium
Little fact I did not know: You can get a minor in circus at FSU!! Who knew?
Then we headed back to the capitol building and I snapped some pics of the police memorial.
Last sight seeing stop was Mission San Luis. It is a replica formed from old artifacts of a community where Apalachee Indians and Spaniards lived together back in the 1700’s. It was pretty cool. So if you are ever in Tallahassee check it out.
Our tour guide wanted to stop by the Governors Mansion on our way to dinner since we had a little time so here is a picture of the mansion and a statue dedicated to the children on Florida in front of it.
I may have needed a cold adult beverage after that 10 hour day with a bunch of junior high kids.
~
Today is the last performance at the elementary school & a luncheon with their parents. So proud of those kids!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
